Altigreen NeEV Tez: What Makes It Special?

The Altigreen NeEV Tez is claimed to be the world’s fastest-charging three-wheeler featuring Exponent’s three-in-one connector. According to Altigreen, the three-wheeler takes only 15-minutes to charge from 0 to 100 percent.

The NeEV Tez also comes with a 3000-cycle battery life warranty along with a 100 percent rapid charging ability. It even gets an extensive warranty of 5 years/1 lakh km on the vehicle and a battery warranty of 1.5 lakh km.

Further, the NeEV Tez delivers an ARAI-certified driving range of 98km/per charge and can reach speeds of up to 53kmph. It also has a gradeability of 18 percent and a ground clearance of 220mm. Apart from these, the vehicle comes with a 5-inch digital display and telematics for better driver performance and fleet management.

The Altigreen NeEV Tez is available for purchase at a starting price of Rs. 3.55 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, making it one of the most affordable, high-performance electric three-wheelers in the country.

Other Electric Three-Wheelers In India:

Although the Altigreen NeEV Tez is the only electric three-wheeler in India that can charge from 0 to 100 percent in just 15-minutes, there are other brands offering similar products in the market with excellent range. Let’s take a look at them:

Euler HiLoad EV 2023: The HiLoad EV 2023 is an electric three-wheeler from Euler that comes with a 12.96kWh battery pack. The three-wheeler has the capacity to deliver a 170km ARAI-certified range and comes with a 688kg payload. It gets halogen headlamps and 200 mm front disc brakes for better driveability and safety.

The Euler HilLoad EV 2023 is available for purchase at a starting price of Rs. 3.79 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

OSM Rage Plus: The Rage Plus is an electric three-wheeler from Omega Seiki Mobility that comes with a 10.8kWh battery pack which takes 3-4 hours to fully charge.

The electric cargo haulage three-wheeler has the capacity to deliver a 120km range and comes with a 500kg payload. It also has a ground clearance of 240mm and gets drum brakes at all ends. The OSM Rage Plus is available for purchase at a starting price of Rs. 3.70 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

While these electric three-wheelers are top-notch in terms of performance, the charging performance that Atigreen NeEV Tez offers is yet to be challenged. However, it might be right to assume that other automakers are planning to launch similar-grade products in the near future.
