EV maker Altigreen has announced the launch of its new retail experience centre in Nagpur, the brand’s 31st retail dealership in India. The company has dealerships in metropolises like Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Bangalore. 

With the opening of Altigreen’s Nagpur experience centre, businesses now have better access to the brand’s electric cargo haulage vehicles. For establishing the facility, Altigreen has opted to further build its relationship with Garnet Motors, an established chain in the automobile dealerships sector.

The Altigreen retail experience centre was launched by Nitin Gadkari, Minister of road transport and highways, and Dr Amitabh Saran, founder and CEO Altigreen. 

Comments On Altigreen Retail Experience Centre: 

Speaking at the event, Nitin Gadkari, Minister of road transport and highways, said, “India is emerging as one of the leading countries in EV adaptation. I highly appreciate Altigreen made-in-India, made-for-India EVs which are specifically designed for the Indian environment, and roads. 

The three-wheeler industry in India is poised for significant growth in the coming years, driven by the adoption of EVs. India’s transition to electric vehicles (EVs) has gained momentum in recent years with the government's push towards a cleaner and greener economy, and the three-wheeler industry is playing a crucial role in driving this transition.”

Best Altigreen Electric Vehicle: 

In recent news, Altigreen introduced the NeEV Tez which it claims to be the world’s fastest-charging 3-wheeler featuring Exponent’s three-in-one connector. This vehicle is said to come with a 3000-cycle battery life warranty along with 100 percent rapid charging ability. 

The NeEV Tez has an 8.2kWh battery pack. Its 8.25 KW electric motor puts out a claimed 810Nm of peak torque (at the wheel).  

The Altigreen NeEV Tez gets a helical spring, damper and hydraulic shock absorber in the front for rigidity, while the rear gets a rigid axle setup with leaf springs for better load-carrying capacity. Altigreen says the three-wheeler can clock a top speed of 53kmph and deliver a claimed 98km (ARAI Certified) range. 

The brand has also showcased the NeEV’s performance by completing a 150+ km intercity journey between the Mysore Palace and Bangalore Palace.

The Altigreen NeEV Tez is available for purchase at a starting price of Rs. 3.55 Lakh. It faces competition from the likes of Piaggio Ape E-Xtra, OSM Rage Plus and OSM Rage Plus Rapid among others.
