The Turbocharged Diesel Engine returns a mileage of 22.07 kmpl and complies with BS-IV emission norms. The engine generates a power output of 33 bhp @ 3500 rpm and 75 Nm @ 2000 rpm. Super Carry truck comes with a payload of 740 kg and a ground clearance of 160 mm. Safety and design features include wider wind screens, ORVMs, additional rear reflectors, multi-purpose storage spaces, lockable glove box and bottle holder for driver and co-driver. Maruti Suzuki Super Carry is ideal for intra-city cargo transportation and is available in two color options Superior White and Silky Silver.

The company ventured into the commercial vehicle segment with the pilot launch of Super Carry in three cities and established a stronghold in the LCV market in 2017-18 by selling over 10,000 vehicles. However, there was a recall made to inspect a possible defect in the fuel pump assembly for the products manufactured between 20th Jan 2018 and 14th July 2018.
The Maruti Suzuki Super Carry is powered by a 1.2-litre, Multi-point fuel injection G12B, 2-cylinder, BS-IV compliant engine that can churn out a maximum power of 63.4 bhp at 6,000 rpm, along with a highest torque of 85 Nm, which comes at 3,000 rpm. The engine is coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox along with a single plate dry clutch.
Besides, the mini truck can provide a mileage of around 23.24 kmpl, which is good for a vehicle with such a powerful setup.
The Maruti Suzuki Super Carry is made with a strong chassis that allows it to carry heavy loads. The vehicle gets a long cargo body of 2.18 metre, that is built on the chassis and enough to load bigger packages. The mini truck has a day cabin as standard, which is not tiltable. The ground clearance is at a decent 175 mm, which makes it suitable for city hauls and as well as off-roads.
The mini truck measures 3,800 mm in length and has a gross vehicle weight is 1,600 kilograms, out of which the overall kerb weight is 975 kilograms and the payload capacity is 625 kilograms.
The Maruti Suzuki Super Carry features manual steering (Rack and Pinion type) for the drivers inside the cabin. The wheelbase is 2.11 metres, indicating a good turning radius of 4.3 metres, which is decent for this setup. Also, the decent ground clearance helps the vehicle run on bumpy roads easily. The mini truck has an off-road gradeability of 21%, which is pretty much on the decent side.
In terms of the suspension, for the rigid axle configuration, the mini truck is suspended over McPherson Strut with Coil Spring on the front and the rear gets Rigid Leaf Spring. The setup is suitable for taking the vehicle on most kinds of terrains.
The Maruti Suzuki Super Carry features a combination of disc and drum (ventilated units for both) brakes for all the wheels that offer great stopping power. This makes for a great choice over its other competitors. Though the mini truck is used for urban settings, ABS is not provided, even as an option. However, it still manages to perform well without it. Parking brakes are also offered as standard, unlike many other variants that do not have it.
Talking about the safety, the mini truck has retractable seat belts for the D+1 layout inside the cabin, which is standard across all the variants. The vehicle also comes with several safety features including Steering Lock, Warning Triangle, Brake LSPV and many more for its CNG BS-IV model.
The Maruti Suzuki Super Carry comes with a spacious cabin, which is big enough for two people comfortably. The premium interior setup and colour theme make it stand different from other LCVs. There are several multi-purpose storage spaces for the driver and co-driver. The vehicle is provided with a sliding driving seat, sun visor and driver side pocket.
The mini truck runs on tubeless tyres that make sure that there is less damage over time. However, AC is not offered as an option.
