Altigreen Teams Up with Sundaram Finance and Indian Bank to Simplify 3-Wheeler EV Buying

Through this partnership, electric commercial vehicle manufacturer Altigreen aims to enhance the EV buying experience by providing attractive finance options and personalised loans to customers across India.

Altigreen has partnered with Sundaram Finance and Indian Bank to provide specialised financing options for its customers. Altigreen is an electric commercial vehicle manufacturer that works in the last-mile mobility segment. 

Altigreen’s range of vehicles include 3-wheeler cargo trucks that offer an ARAI range of 151 km on a single charge. The company claims these vehicles can do over 120km on a single charge when fully loaded. 

Now, Altigreen has partnered with the aforementioned financiers to offer its customers a wide range of financial products that can ensure a simpler purchase experience. These finance options will enable Altigreen customers to better focus on their work and thereby result in an improved earning opportunity. 

Altigreen’s tie-up with Sundaram Finance will help the electric cargo vehicle maker reach a wider audience in both urban and rural markets. Commenting on this partnership, Amitabh Saran, Founder, and CEO at Altigreen, said that the finance options will help its last-mile delivery solutions become more accessible to end customers. The partnership will also help both the companies generate a good amount of interest in the market. Further, Sundaram Finance will offer better interest rates as compared to other NBFCs.

Altigreen has also tied up with Indian Bank to offer retail finance options. Thanks to this strategic alliance, Altigreen customers across India will get the bank’s wide range of financial offerings. Indian Bank will offer low-cost financing options to customers purchasing Altigreen vehicles. Further, thanks to the good presence of Indian Bank in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, Altigreen customer’s from these areas will be greatly benefitted by the low-cost financing options. Field General Manager at Indian Bank, Sudhir Kumar Gupta said that Altigreen’s last-mile mobility options can offer a good income earning opportunity to people beyond Tier 2 cities. The Bank has recognized the lack of financial institutions to such customers and wants to cater to them.

The Bengaluru-based company has three products on offer - High Deck covered 3 wheeler, Low Deck open 3 wheeler and neEV TEZ, which is claimed to be the world’s fastest charging cargo three-wheeler. According to Altigreen, the 0-100% charging time of the neEV TEZ is just 15 minutes. This innovative product comes with a liquid-cooled battery that offers improved battery performance and range. All three offerings are powered by an 8.25 kW electric motor with a peak torque of 45 Nm. The top speed of these vehicles is 53 kmph. The company also offers a 5 years / 1 lakh km warranty as standard across the range.
