Modified On Mar 07, 2024 05:42 PMBy Ketan Birla

Tata Motors has decided to increase its commercial vehicle price by up to 2 percent, effective April 2024. The price hike will be implemented across the entire range of commercial vehicles with different extents

Tata Motors announced in a stock exchange intimation on 7th March 2024 that the company will hike the prices of its commercial vehicles by 2 percent. Although it will be implemented across all commercial vehicle ranges of the company, the extent of the price hike will differ based on specific models and variants. The company further stated that this decision has been made to offset the residual impact of past input costs.

Recently, Tata Motors also announced the company's demerger into two units – one will house the passenger and electric vehicle segment, as well as Jaguar Land Rover businesses and related investments, while the other unit will deal with the commercial vehicles businesses and related investments. As a result of this demerger, Tata Motors will get even better synergies with separate listings in the stock market.
