Mahindra Tractors has launched seven new OJA tractor models for the Indian market, claimed to pack some best-in-class and first-in-segment features. Read on for details:
Mahindra Tractors has launched a future-ready range of global lightweight 4WD tractors, the Mahindra OJA range, which includes 7 new models loaded with first-in-category technology features. The OJA range of tractors will be made in India for serving diverse markets across 6 continents.
Mahindra unveiled new tractors on 3 OJA platforms in Cape Town – the sub-compact, compact and small utility platforms. Moreover, Mahindra launched 7 new tractor models for the Indian market based on their compact and small utility platforms. These include tractors which range from 20Hp to 40Hp designed for a wide array of applications.

Highlights Of Mahindra OJA Range:
The OJA tractor range boasts several key features which enhance its performance and user experience. These include:
Superior Traction: With 4WD as a standard feature, the new OJA range of tractors ensures better traction on challenging terrain for higher productivity to drive in profitability.
Top-Class Power-To-Weight Ratio: The OJA range of tractors is offered with a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio to make them agile and suitable for various farming applications while they deliver superior powertrain performance.
Best Aggregates: The OJA range ensures superior performance in terms of fuel economy and lugging abilities. Lugging ability is a measure of the amount of temporary overload the tractor can withstand. The tractor range also equips advanced hydraulics and automation controls for improved performance and precision.
Best Comfort Features: The OJA range is designed to offer user comfort. It has tilt and telescopic steering, side shift controls with colour-coded knobs, and easy-to-reach controls for the operator’s convenience.
Cost-Effectiveness: The advanced features of the OJA range contribute to low operational costs during each crop cycle. Thanks to the lower operational cycle, there are reduced operational expenses and lower maintenance costs which ensure higher profitability.

OJA Technology Packs:
Developed to cater to the diverse needs of the farming sector, the OJA range of tractors features category-first technologies. These include the PROJA (Productivity Pack), MYOJA (Telematics Pack), and ROBOJA (Automation Pack).
PROJA (Productivity Pack): The PROJA package is designed to reduce manual interventions and operator fatigue. Therefore, it features the creeper mode. With a speed of 0.3 kmph, the creeper mode enables the sowing of seeds with precision and laying mulching sheets with ease.
Additionally, under the PROJA package, the tractors also feature a F/R Shuttle feature, that offers multiple reverse speed options to improve work speed during field operations. Also with the wet electric PTO option, the tractor even enables the operator to start and stop the PTO at the click of a button.
MYOJA (Telematics Pack): With the MYOJA telematics pack, owners and operators can have advanced control over their tractors, via a mobile phone application. The MYOJA telematics offers a GPS live location feature, service alerts and coverage & trip calculator function, among others.
ROBOJA (Automation Pack): The ROBOJA pack eliminates the need for manual intervention while operating the tractor. It features an auto PTO feature to effortlessly engage the PTO with a simple touch of a button and an auto implement lift function which enables automatic lifting and lowering of implements while turning and reversing.
Additionally, an auto one-side braking function is also offered which is an intelligent brake application on one side during turns to eliminate the management of both steering and braking simultaneously to prevent skidding or loss of control while turning the tractor.
Price Of Mahindra OJA Range:
The Mahindra OJA 2127 and the Mahindra OJA 3140 models are launched at a price of Rs.5.64 lakh and Rs. 7.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The OJA range will be available for customers in India starting in October.
The OJA range will also be launched in North America, ASEAN, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Europe and the SAARC region. Mahindra will also mark its debut in the ASEAN region starting with Thailand in 2024.
