The Eicher Pro 2055T DSD is a light commercial vehicle (LCV) which falls under 6.95-tonne gross vehicle weight (GVW) and is suited for carrying boulder stones, bricks, laterite stones, and sand materials. It is built with a drop side deck (DSD) body configuration with diesel fuel-variant.

The Eicher Pro 2055T DSD is powered by a 3-litre E474 diesel engine that produces 120.7 hp (90 kW) and 350 Nm between 1200-2500 rpm. Its BS6 engine is paired with an Eicher ET40 S5 transmission with a 5-speed gearbox and 310 mm diameter clutch to improve transmission efficiency. 

Additionally, its transmission uses a hybrid gear shift lever to enable smooth gear shifting for seamless cargo mobility. The model fits with hydraulic-actuated drum brakes to regulate the vehicle speed and improve braking efficiency for safe operations.

This diesel truck's semi-elliptical laminated leaves with shock absorbers at the front and helper springs at the rear ensure heavy loading and a jerk-free cargo ride.
