Eicher Trucks and Buses has delivered 50 medium-duty Pro 2119 trucks to Star Cement to provide an efficient transportation solution for the cement industry in the Northeast region.
Eicher Trucks and Buses, a division of VECV (Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles), has received one of the largest single-haulage orders in the Northeast region, to deliver 50 Eicher Pro 2119 trucks to Star Cement and its associates in Guwahati, Assam.
The delivery of these trucks on May 24, 2024 underscores the brand’s commitment to offering a reliable and efficient logistical solution designed to address the cement industry in Northeast India.

Eicher Pro 2119 Truck Specifications
The Eicher Pro 2119 is an 18.5-tonne GVW (gross vehicle weight) truck powered by a 3.8-litre E494 4-cylinder engine. This model generates 180 hp (134 kW) at 2600 rpm and 600 Nm at around 1200-1800 rpm. Its BS6 engine is paired with a 7-speed ET60 S7 gearbox to deliver power transmission efficiently.
Featuring parabolic front suspension with shock absorbers and semi-elliptical laminated leaf springs at the rear, the vehicle absorbs shocks and vibrations to result in a smooth ride. The Pro 2119 is available in two wheelbase options – 4295 mm and 5105 mm – to improve vehicular stability. With loading spans of 5181 mm, 6096 mm, 6705 mm, and 7315 mm, its payload capacity is 13.3 tonnes.
