The Eicher Pro 2050 is driven by a BS6-compliant E366 2-litre 3-cylinder 4-valve CRS diesel engine that delivers 100 hp at 3200 rpm. It has a flat torque range over a wide rpm range, preventing frequent gear shifts. Therefore, the engine generates a maximum torque of 285 Nm between 1250-2500 rpm. Further, its engine is mated to a 280 mm clutch and an Eicher 3M5D 5-speed transmission, with an optional PTO (Power Take-Off) to transfer the engine’s power to auxiliary parts. 

The vehicle also has a hybrid and convenient car-like gear shift lever to improve transmission efficiency. Eicher also claims that this truck uses a reliable EATS (Exhaust-After Treatment System) to ensure efficient fluid economy through optimum fuel and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) consumption.
