Tata Motors, one of the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, announces the integration of 5 lakh commercial vehicles into Fleet Edge, its dedicated connected vehicle platform. This initiative marks a significant leap towards efficient fleet management, leveraging smart technologies to enhance vehicle uptime and bolster road safety.

What Does Tata Motors Have To Say?

Fleet Edge features a user-friendly interface displaying inputs from various pre-installed sensors, offering regular monitoring of vehicle health and timely maintenance alerts to increase uptime. The platform analyses driving patterns, suggesting fuel-saving techniques and tracking driver behaviour. 

All commercial electric vehicles (EVs), medium and heavy trucks, and buses from Tata Motors are Fleet Edge ready, equipped with a 4G SIM for seamless connectivity. Its Telematics Control Unit (TCU) adheres to AIS 140 compliance, ensuring safety and security functions. 

Furthermore, advanced algorithms process data inputs from these smart vehicles on multiple parameters, delivering valuable insights. Additionally, fleet owners and managers can make informed decisions tailored to their business needs, choosing from “Standard” and “Advance” subscription options.
