On a momentous occasion celebrating the remarkable milestone of attaining 4 lakh happy customers for its Tata Magic van, Tata Motors introduces the Magic Bi-Fuel variant that can operate using two different types of fuel – Petrol and compressed natural gas (CNG). 

Tata Motors claims that the 10-seater Tata Magic known for its reliability, efficiency and affordability in last-mile transportation, has been an ideal choice for commuters and operators. The brand asserts that the sleek design, safety and passenger comfort of the Tata Magic has played a key role in its continued successes over the years.

What Makes Bi-Fuel Vehicles Unique? 

Bi-fuel vans like the Tata Magic have separate fuel tanks and fuel systems for each type of fuel, allowing the driver to switch between them as needed. This dual-fuel capability can provide flexibility and potentially lower fuel costs, especially in areas where CNG is more affordable than petrol.

Powered by a 694 cc engine with a 60-litre CNG tank and a 5-litre petrol tank, offering a cumulative range of approximately 380 kilometres on a single fill, the new Magic variant is perfectly suited for student and staff transportation, and last-mile mobility. 

Additionally, with a warranty of 2 years or 72,000 km, Tata Motors points out that the new variant is a cost-effective solution for businesses looking for a strategic investment.
