Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group, opened its new dealership for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) in North Delhi.

In a move that underscores the brand’s commitment to enhancing the customer experience, Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group, opened its new dealership for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) in North Delhi. The brand claims it is their third LCV dealership in Delhi. This new 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) facility is strategically located on GT Karnal Highway at Plot No. 1 & 2, Khasra No. 53, Nangli Poona, Delhi, 110036.

Ashok Leyland also stated in a release that the facility is equipped with advanced tools, has six service bays, and features sophisticated infrastructure to ensure a superior customer experience. In terms of its LCV product portfolio, Ashok Leyland offers the Bada Dost, Dost, and Partner range of commercial vehicles at the new dealership.

The LCV Range: What Makes Them Unique?

Ashok Leyland asserts that their LCV products were launched to meet the evolving needs of the Indian customer by offering best-in-class technology at competitive costs. Now, there are more than 4.50 lakh LCVs across India, a testament to this commitment.

Speaking of the products, the recently launched Bada Dost is a light-duty truck built on an all-new robust LCV platform offered in three different variants, i2, i3+ and i4. In terms of specs, Ashok Leyland claims that the Bada Dost is equipped with an 80 hp BS6-compliant engine that delivers best-in-class power and mileage. It is also available in a CNG variant.

As for the Dost range, it comes in the following avatars - Dost Lite, Dost Strong, Dost XL and Dost+ to cater to different sections of the market and applications.

Further, the Partner is a modern and highly fuel-efficient load carrier, that caters to the 4-tonne payload segment. It is available in both 4-tyre and 6-tyre options. It comes with load body options of 10ft, 11ft, 14ft and 17ft. Partner is based on an internationally acclaimed vehicle platform and carries the tested and proven ZD30 CRDI engine.

Due to these characteristics, this LCV range is considered to be a unique offering from Ashok Leyland.

Exploring Ashok Leyland's LCV Price

The Bada Dost range of commercial vehicles comes at an affordable price. Precisely, the i4 and i3+ variants of the Bada Dost are available at a price of Rs 9,99,500 lakh, while the i2 diesel variant is offered at Rs 9.02 lakh and the CNG variant is offered at Rs 9.15 lakh.

Meanwhile, the Dost Lite, Dost Strong, Dost XL and Dost+ are available at a competitive price starting from Rs 7.45 lakh and the Partner is available at an attractive starting price of Rs 16.83 lakh.
