Eicher Launches Pro 6025T BS-IV Variant at Hyderabad Event

Eicher Trucks and Buses, one of India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, recently launched the BS-IV variant of its Pro 6025T tipper at an event in Hyderabad. Apart from the new variant launch, the entire range of Eicher's Pro and Terra series construction tippers were also showcased. Hosted at the Hitex Exhibition Center in the city, the event witnessed an impressive gathering of Eicher’s senior level officials and the company’s premium clients from different sectors.

The audience consisted of top level customers and fleet owners from different industries such as road construction, irrigation, crusher, aggregate transportation and concrete movement. Speaking at the occasion about the collaboration between Eicher and Volvo, Mr. S S Gill, Senior VP & Head, Heavy Duty Trucks at VE Commercial Vehicles, said, “Volvo Group is the world leader in technology and Eicher has collaborated with Volvo to adopt advanced processes and technologies for the Indian market. For each vehicle, we ensure that the strengths of Eicher’s brand are sustained along with the technology of Volvo Group.”

Mr. Gill also stressed on the various progressive technologies incorporated in Eicher’s construction tippers. Besides superior engine technologies for fuel efficiency, the vehicles are equipped with cruise control, Engine Management System (EMS 3.0), advanced Fuel Coaching feature and an advanced telematics system. He also spoke about Eicher’s reliable aftermarket services and lifetime support system.

The new BSIV variant of Eicher Pro 6025T is equipped with a powerful VEDX8 7.7 liters engine that generates 220 bhp power @ 2200 rpm and 850 Nm torque @ 1100-1700 rpm. The vehicle has a turning circle diameter of 14.4 m, a max speed of 79.6 kmph and a high 42.5% gradeability (crawler gear). Also, tilt and telescopic steering ensure good driver position.

As per customer testimonials, Eicher Pro 6025T not only increases productivity, but also brings in more savings, leading to a win-win situation for business owners. Apart from more load carrying capacity, the vehicles offer best in class mileage. The construction tippers also help save a lot on diesel. Mr. Laxman Rao, Site Incharge of Singh Transporters says that their business saves up to INR 30,000 to 40,000 per vehicle per month on fuel. Taking into account all their Eicher tippers, the savings per month amount in lakhs.

Also, a low breakdown ratio of Eicher tippers as compared to others in the segment guarantee more trips. The ergonomic design of the vehicle along with HVAC and a four point suspension cabin minimize driver fatigue even after a long day at work. Apart from good pickup, a strong chassis coupled with tough aggregates provide higher stability even with the maximum payload and enhance maneuverability, even in the worst off-road conditions. Plus, Eicher’s advanced telematics system helps in gauging driver behaviour and keeps a tab on vehicles, besides preventing fuel line malpractices.

Apart from the tippers, Eicher also demonstrated its container support setup. This support system functions in portable shipping containers which are set up at sites where Eicher’s tippers are deployed. Due to this service, uptime of Eicher’s tippers have increased to as high as 98 percent.
