Ashok Leyland develops JEET 4X4- Special Light Vehicle for Indian Army

Based on the Dost Truck platform, JEET 4x4 is equipped to perform in hills, high altitudes, cross country, plains & desert terrain.

JEET 4X4
In the ongoing DefExpo 202- the flagship defense exhibition- taking place at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the firm has showcased a few innovative vehicles developed for the armed forces. And one key product that caught our attention is the JEET 4x4- a fully indigenized 4x4 light GS Vehicle, an all-wheel drive LCV based on the Dost-mini-truck platform.
According to Ashok Leyland, the Jeet 4X4 is a proven vehicle platform, equipped to perform in hills, high altitudes, cross country, plains & desert terrain. Developed on a proven vehicle platform, most suitable for the General Service (GS) role, JEET 4X4 also employs contemporary technology in all its systems.

LBPV 4x4
Another key highlight is the Light Bullet Proof Vehicle- a versatile platform, indigenously designed and developed to carry a small team of 06 combat soldiers into various tactical missions ranging from counter-insurgency/ counter-terrorist operations for reconnaissance, quick reaction, and patrolling. LBPV is designed for all-terrain mobility with armored protection and fitted with a weapon mount to operate independently on the battlefield. The vehicle gets features like all-wheel independent suspension, ABS, ride height management, and many more options that make highly capable vehicle.
