January 22, 2021: Ashok Leyland’s 3525 RMC caters to the top-end construction and infrastructure projects. The 3525 RMC is 12-tyre, 4 axle truck, 8x4 tipper with 9 and 10 CuM of capacity RMC mixer to carry bulk concrete to execute large and critical projects. 

Ashok Leyland 3525 RMC Engine & GearBox: The truck gets Ashok Leyland’s A-series engine that produces massive 250hp of power at a peak torque of a whopping 99 Nm at 1200-1800 rpm. The engine is tuned to a 9-speed gearbox.

Ashok Leyland 3525 RMC Suspensions: The front suspension is semi-elliptic multi-leaf and parabolic spring. The rear suspension is bogie or non-reactive type.

Ashok Leyland brings the 3525 8x4 RMC truck transit mixer for heavy-duty construction and infrastructure projects. This special application is based on the 35,000 kg gross weight tipper that has 4 axles and 12-tyre configuration.

Exterior

This front facia of this huge truck is quite similar to Ashok Leyland’s other HCV trucks. The only major visual change on the 3525 RMC is the giant mixer attached at the back. The 3520 RMC comes with an N-type day cabin with AC an option.

The 3525 RMC is available in9 and 10 CuM RMC mixer sizes. The wheelbase is 5350 mm and The durability of carrying a heavy load is taken care by the high strength steel material used in the chassis frame, which comes in the dimension of 275x75x7/8 mm in bolted construction type. The rear axle is fully-floating, hypoid differential. The fuel tank size is 220L, the tyre sizes are 295/90R20, 295/95D20, 11x20PR and 11x20 16 PR.

Interior

The 3525 RMC comes with the N cabin that has a tiltable suspended cab with dampers for highest ride comfort, crash test compliant as per Indian truck code. Also reclining seats for higher driver comfort suspended driver seat as an option. Anti-roll bar in the front, superior overhead, rear and glove box storage space. A full metal front facia & Metal bumper and music system with AC & HVAC comes as an option. 

The 3525 RMC gets the common new digital driver-assist mounted on the dashboard with all the vital vehicle information to the driver during the trip and even at stationary. This dashboard helps to effectively control and run the truck at its full potential, thus saving fuel and getting better performance. Performance

Safety

Like the rest of HCV truck range, Ashok Leyland has provided all the necessary elements of safety in 3525 RMC. Like the truck, the front facia is all-metal to protect from frontal impact, double head-lamp and LED tail-lamp for better visibility. The braking of this has improved substantially to control the truck efficiently. The truck also comes with another safety feature, which is an anti-roll bar to improve safety at high speed and tall loads. The truck is also fitted with reverse parking assistance with accident hazard audio warning, and even a single driver can handle this massive truck easily with all the necessary features.
