The 2820 RMC variant is based on the new modular AVTR modular truck platform that offers the huge benefits of customisation, and this allows the customer to get all the necessary feature and suitable solutions right at the factory-fitted model. 

Ashok Leyland 2820 RMCEngine: The 2820 RMC is built for tough and challenging operating needs of today’s construction and infrastructure sector. The 2820 RMC gets Ashok Leyland’s proven iGen6 series engine designed and developed in-house to take on any terrain with well-known iEGR technology, blending a higher power & torque flat torque curve for superior mileage. The engine is H series 6-cylinder, CRS with iGen-6 technology BS6 engine, 200HP of power and a whopping 700 Nm of torque.

Ashok Leyland 2820 RMC Clutch: The 2820 RMC Clutch is 380mm dia single dry plate, ceramic clutch with diaphragm cover assembly, air assisted hydraulic booster

Ashok Leyland 2820 RMC Gearbox: The 2820 RMC gearbox is a 6-speed and has two options: FGR 8.91 and 9.01

Rear-axle: The rear axle comes as fully floating, in hypoid differential.  

Ashok Leyland 2820 RMC Suspension: The 2820 RMC suspension is semi elliptic multileaf & parabolic spring at the front and NRS semi elliptic & bogie at the rear.

Ashok Leyland 2820 RMC Cabin and Body Options: The Ashok Leyland 2820 RMC is available in body capacities of 6 and 7 CuM RMC & 8 CuM RMC for large concrete mixers. Likewise, you can select any of the cabin options from the economy, premium, or value as per your needs and budget.
