Significance of Industry-Academia Engagement

The collaboration between Volvo Group and Indian Universities will foster automotive engineering. A two-semester credit course on industry-specific disciplines offered by the partnering universities will serve as the cornerstone of this collaboration, providing students with a comprehensive knowledge of the automotive industry.

Volvo Group will actively support this initiative by conducting guest lectures, educating other faculty members at the institutions, training faculty members, organising industry-specific sessions with professionals, and providing pertinent use cases and problem statements to develop practical knowledge. Furthermore, the brand may consider scholarships for a small number of female students who choose to participate in these courses, encouraging diversity and inclusivity in the automotive sector.
