Volvo Eicher Posts 17% Growth, Records 7,221 Units Sales In December 2022

Volume growth is bolstered by strong demand in the domestic market.
VE Commercial Vehicles, which sells Eicher and Volvo branded trucks and buses, registered sales of 7,221 units in December 2022 as compared to 6,154 units in December 2021, witnessing a growth of 17.3%. This includes 7,003 units of the Eicher brand and 218 units of the Volvo brand.
In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses sales stood at 6,671 units in December’22 as compared to 5,192 units in the same period last year, up by 28.5%.
On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 332 units in December 2022 as compared to 810 units in December’21, a drop of 59%, meanwhile, Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses have recorded sales of 1218 units in the month as compared to 152 units in last year, increasing y 43%.
