Tresa Motors has secured a pre-order of 1,000 electric trucks from a logistics company JFK Transporters to signify a remarkable milestone in the endeavour to reduce carbon emissions in the transportation sector.

Tresa Motors, the country’s medium and heavy electric truck manufacturer, has bagged a pre-order for 1,000 trucks from logistics company JFK Transporters. With this partnership, Tresa Motors will be able to showcase its cutting-edge EV technology on Indian roads to offer an eco-friendly and sustainable logistical solution. This pre-order can benefit JFK Transporters also by getting early access to Tresa’s state-of-the-art EV trucks to enhance its fleet performance.

Features Of Tresa Electric Trucks 

Tresa Motors is working on the EV segment in a gross vehicle weight range from 18-tonne to 55-tonne trucks. On July 3, 2023, Tresa unveiled its first electric truck, the Tresa Motors V0.1, to transform the commercial transportation landscape of India. Tresa’s electric truck is built with an innovative Axial Flux Motor Platform that has magnetic flux running parallel to the motor’s shaft to produce a high torque of 24000 NM. 

Equipped with an 800 V 50 kW self-contained battery pack module, the Tresa electric truck delivers enhanced cooling capabilities and increased efficiency. It is supported by a 3000 kWh battery to ensure 80 percent charging within 15 minutes. With a top speed of 120 kmph, it has the potential to drastically reduce the carbon footprint of the Indian trucking industry, for sustainable development.
