Tresa Motors Model V0.1 Prototype Spied In Bangalore Revealing Exciting Details

In the evolving landscape of commercial-grade automobile manufacturing, automakers believe that electric vehicles are the future of mobility. While manufacturers are trying to master the field by offering cutting-edge tech-integrated electric trucks to enhance the businesses of customers, Tresa Motors became a pioneer by unveiling its Model V0.1. 

Interestingly, one of the prototypes of the truck was recently spotted testing in the city of Bangalore.

The Spy Shots: What Do They Tell?

The images shared by Team-BHP show the truck's tailgate with what looks like a connected LED taillamp running across the entire width of the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle features a container load body, unlike the flatbed body type showcased by Tresa Motors back in September 2023. 

The Story So Far: Tresa Motors

Introduced in July 2023, the Model V0.1 bears a striking resemblance to the Tesla Cybertruck, however, in a larger form factor. Built on Tresa Motors' groundbreaking Axial Flux motor platform, FLUX350, this futuristic truck's development reportedly involved extensive simulations over several months.  

The Model V0.1 is based on a medium and heavy-duty electric truck platform, with a load capacity ranging from 18 to 55 tonnes. 

The Model V0.1 also represents the second iteration of Tresa's electric truck, now undergoing on-road trials with partners. Featuring Tresa's modular battery pack, the brand claims that the vehicle's range can be extended even after purchase. 

Moreover, its Meg50- 50kWh modular battery packs are fully submerged in dielectric liquid for efficient battery cooling. Tresa Motors also recently unveiled India's first eAxle DAX1, powered by Tresa's FLUX350 platform motors. 

What Makes The Tresa Model V0.1 Unique? 

According to Tresa Motors, the Tresa truck’s cabin is designed with central seating for drivers. It also equips air conditioning and airbags. The Model V0.1 also features LIDAR and artificial intelligence. LIDAR or Light Detection And Ranging is a technology that uses infrared light or lasers to create a three-dimensional image of the environment for occupant safety. 

What We Think? 

Tresa Motors seems to be heading in the right direction with the manufacturing of unique, feature-rich trucks. As the sole manufacturer of the axial flux motor-powered eAxle in India, Tresa Motors has the potential to make a significant impact on the trucking sector and advance India's EV technology.
