Omega Seiki Mobility opens a new dealership in Bangalore

The local EV makers aggressively spreading network across key markets in India

The growing customer preference for the electric auto-rickshaw in the era of higher fuel prices has skyrocketed sales. Over the last few months, the retail sale of e-autos has been consistently exceeding the conventional auto-rickshaws in a paradigm shift in the market. 

This has promoted the e-auto makers to ramp up their production capabilities and sales network to serve customers across India. And one key local player e-auto maker, OMEGA SEIKI MOBILITY (OSM), trying to make the most of this massive demand by increasing its products as well as dealership network across India. Expanding into key southern India, the firm has just opened a new dealership in Bangalore city. 

The new dealership will retail the range of e-auto in the city, and to penetrate the market even deeper, plans are in the work to open more such touch points in this southern city to reach an extensive customer base.  

As the demand for e-autos continues to soar, OSM has been growing its product lineup and manufacturing footprint rapidly in India. The firm retails passenger and cargo e-auto under the RAGE+ brands, and their popularity among e-commerce companies and individual buyers has been growing considerably with more and more e-auto running across cities and towns. 

OSM’s Rage Plus is a 960 kg GVW electric cargo three-wheeler with a 500 kg payload capacity. With a top speed of 45 kmph, the Rage Plus comes with a fixed type battery of 10.8 kWh capacity with a company-certified Rage of 120 km. The vehicles under the RAGE+ brand are deployed by several major e-commerce and logistics companies in India.

The EV maker aims to fast-track future mobility, with green energy at its core, by implementing data-driven, smart engineering, and also has designed and developed its three-wheelers indigenously at its in-house R&D facility.
