Partners with Creativity at Best Technologies to lease 1500 electric vehicles in the next three years, to enable mass adoption of EVs in India

India’s leading electric vehicle maker, Omega Seiki Mobility continues to aggressively pursue opportunities to transform last-mile mobility through greener vehicles. To offer a sustainable vehicle/fleet for last-mile transportation, the firm is partnering with various stakeholders to deploy a greener three-wheeler.

Announcing another such partnership, OSM has joined hands with Creativity at Best Technologies a technology-driven logistics service provider for leasing 500electric three-wheelers. Both companies will expand this partnership to lease 1500 electric vehicles by the end of 2025. Through this deal, OSM electric fleet will support CABT's growing customer base during a time when people continue to rely on receiving items they need quickly at their doorstep.

This is significant taking into account that India’s last-mile logistics sector in the e-commerce industry is anticipated to increase by 9 times to USD 5.23 billion in 2025. For small loads, 3W goods vehicles are fast becoming a preferred choice for last-mile delivery. Buoyed by this demand, OSM and CABT are working together in their mission of Pioneering Responsible Energy for last-mile delivery.

With this flag off, CABT Logistics will enable fulfillment support for e-commerce, B2B, and B2C clients across a diverse range of industries. CABT aims to ease the logistical bottlenecks in electric mobility and provide integrated solutions for last-mile distribution services. The firm targets to have at least 200 EVs by the end of 2022 and this partnership with OSM will help in meeting the desired target.

CABT is essentially a first-mile, middle-mile & last-mile delivery platform with warehousing and logistics operations in over 20 states in India. CABT Logistics recently announced plans to invest $8 million to set up micro-fulfillment centers across India. The company handles the logistics requirements for leading companies including DHL, Maersk, IKEA, Amazon, and Flipkart.

Omega Seiki Mobility has been growing its product lineup and manufacturing footprint rapidly in India. The company is the first OEM to have 2,3 and 4-wheelers in its product portfolio. The company has set up large-scale manufacturing facilities in Delhi NCR, and Pune and now looking to expand in Chennai. The company is a leading last-mile service provider under its brand UNOXpress. The firm is currently running its fleet in 25 cities, registering over 10 lac km a month.

Omega Seiki Mobility believes in creating sustainable mobility solutions with an integrated approach, the brand’s focus is to eventually create a clean ecosystem with eco-friendly, safe, and congestion-free mobility. OSM is one of India’s leading clean energy incubators and has become synonymous with India’s sustainability success. The electric vehicle manufacturing company aims to fast-track future mobility, with green energy at its core, by implementing data-driven, smart engineering.
