Mahindra Treo Plus Now Gets A Metal Body And New Benefits: Here Are The Details

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility has unveiled its latest electric rickshaw, the Treo Plus, featuring a metal body construction that addresses the requirement for tough electric three-wheelers among operators and mobility businesses. Mahindra asserts that the Treo Plus metal body e-rickshaw is unveiled in response to customer feedback seeking robust three-wheelers.

To help operators and businesses induct the Treo Plus easily, Mahindra along with its finance partners have also lined up multiple offers. For instance, Mahindra claims that the loan tenure has now been increased to 60 months, and up to 90 percent finance, as well as low down payment schemes, are being offered.

Mahindra Treo Range: Is It The Best? 

Since its launch in 2018, Mahindra claims that it has sold over 50,000 units of Treo to date. Moreover, Treo autos collectively covered an astounding 1.10 Billion kilometres, and have also saved an impressive 18,500 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions from being released into the atmosphere while providing micro-entrepreneurial opportunities to individuals. 

Mahindra also points out that the Treo auto also commands an approximate 52 percent market share in the L5M electric vehicle category.

Treo Plus: Benefits 

Mahindra asserts that customers will benefit from a 5-year / 1,20,000 Km standard warranty on the metal-bodied Treo Plus. Equipped with a 10.24 kWh capacity battery pack and robust electric motor, the vehicle is also capable of producing 10.72 hp of power and 42 Nm torque for quicker turnaround times. 

With a wheelbase of 2073 mm for more space, an impressive driving range of more than 150 km on a single charge and a Hill Hold Assist system, the Treo Plus offers a decent driving experience to enhance business performance and profitability. 

Additionally, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, under the UDAY programme, provides drivers with a Rs 10 Lakh accident insurance cover for the first year upon purchasing the Treo metal body three-wheeler.
