Mahindra Jeeto variants explained

The Jeeto one of the strong products in the 2T mini-truck segment in India taking on the mighty Tata Ace now makes a strong comeback with the more enhanced specification to help the small business and entrepreneurs make more money. Jeeto Plus

Jeeto Plus variant is the primary diesel powertrain model, which offers the highest 715 kg of payload with a gross vehicle weight of 1495 kg, and the company claims 33 km of mileage. It has a cargo body size of 2257x1493x300 (mm) to carry sizable cargo. The overall length of this truck is 3876 mm, the width of 1498 mm, the height of 1750 mm, and the wheelbase is 2500 mm. The diesel powertrain consists of 670 cc, single-cylinder direct-injection water-cooled eigne, producing 11.94 kW of power at 42 Nm of torque, and tuned to a 4-speed manual gearbox. 

Jeeto S6 16

The S6 16 is scaled-down, a more affordable variant of the bigger diesel Jeeto, targeted for those customers who want a Jeeto for lower cargo shipments or shorter distances. The S6 16 comes with 600 kg of payload and a gross vehicle weight of 1345 kg. The diesel powertrain is common among both the models; however, for lower payload, the power figure on this model is slightly lower. It gets the same engine that produces the same power but at a lower 38 Nm of torque and offers 36 km of mileage with the same 10.5L fuel tank.  

Jeeto Plus CNG

The Jeeto Plus CNG variant is mostly for the urban customers where availability of CNG is not an issue. This variant is certainly greener than the diesel counterpart and also economical to operate. Jeeto Plus CNG is fitted with a 625 CC, single-cylinder, four-stroke, positive ignition, CNG engine which produces 15 kW of power at a maximum torque of 44 Nm. The Jeeto plus CNG now offers company claim 37 km of mileage and a range of 278 kilometers. Jeeto Plus CNG can carry a payload of 650 kg and the gross vehicle weight of 1450 kg. 

The 4-speed manual gearbox, manual rack pinion steering, and 145 R12 LT 8PR tyre, independent front suspension, and semi-trailing arm suspension in the rear of independent are common across all the variants. To a peaceful ownership experience, lower running, and maintenance cost, Jeeto comes with standard warranty of 3 years or 72,000 km whichever is earlier across all the variants.
