Eicher to bring Pro 6000 series to AP

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd (VECV), is among the nation's prominent truck manufacturers. The company is a joint venture between the Volvo Group and India's Eicher Motors, with both owning approximately half of the shares. It has recently been reported that the company is bringing its popular Pro 6000 series of heavy duty trucks to Andhra Pradesh. This new series is a cornerstone for the company to bolster itself to strong position in the heavy duty market. It comprises of the Eicher Pro 6031, Eicher Pro 6025 haulage trucks and Eicher Pro 6025T the tipper. These models are designed with the aim of providing fulfilling service across a range of fields, from haulage and distribution to construction. The company stands by a belief that this new series represents 'the future of Indian trucking'.

P Ravishankar, the executive vice president for the sales division of VECV, said, “The Eicher Pro 6000 Series marks yet another milestone in journey of Eicher Trucks and Buses, to becoming a strong player in the commercial vehicle industry, especially in the heavy duty segment. This is the largest and fastest growing category which obviously makes it the most important segment in our product portfolio.”

He further went on to say:

“The combination of Volvo Group’s technology and frugal cost expertise and management of Eicher has created a range that will set new benchmarks in fuel efficiency, productivity and enhanced driver efficiency,”
