Eicher Showcases range of trucks for Mining and Construction Markets at Excon 2017

Eicher Trucks showcased its full range of HD trucks for construction and mining at the 2017 Excon. The comprehensive fleet on display included the Pro 6037 10x2, Pro 8031 XM, Pro 8049 Tip Trailer, Pro 6025 FE and the Pro 5016.

Eicher Trucks & Buses introduced a unique App – EOS App that would help customers log in emergency calls from their smartphone and also track the response of the GPS enabled EOS vans.

The On-site Support is provided with the help of container site model and on-site service vans which allow the trucks to be in the best condition without visiting a workshop.

These HD Pro series trucks are powered by VEDX8 and VEDX5 diesel engines which are developed by the Volvo Group. As a result of this, these engines are highly reliable and have a high service life. The VEDX8 is a 7.7-litre engine which produces 330HP of power while the VEDX5 is a 5.0-litre engine that produces 210HP of power. Eicher claims these engines have proved their capabilities under tough operating conditions and across a variety of applications.
