Eicher Motors Reports a 71% YoY Growth in Sales in October

Eicher Motors has released its sales figures for the month of October 2015. The firm's total sales volume for the month comes to 44,522 units, pitted against 26,039 units in the same period the last year. This reflects a steady growth of 71%. The export face of the company saw a decline of 27%, with 384 vehicles sent out for this October, against 529 for the same month in 2014.

Eicher Motors is one of the major brands in the Indian CV domain. Based in Gurgaon, the corporation conducts its manufacturing in the industrial town of Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. It distributes products through its own marque, as well as through a collaboration with Volvo, known as VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. Besides having a dominant role in the Indian truck space, the company owns the prominent two wheeler emblem, Royal Enfield.

Shares of this brand were last trading at Rs. 17,703 on the BSE, against a closing value of Rs. 17,445.2. The company saw 2688 shares being traded across 997 trades. The brand's value peaked at Rs. 17,860, and saw its lowest at Rs. 17,500. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4,76,24,900.
