DICV Launches Used Truck Brand In India called “BharatBenz Certified”

BharatBenz, announces its entry into the used commercial vehicle market under the brand name ‘BharatBenz Certified’. It is a certified venture that facilitates access to a range of used BharatBenz trucks. 

Under this new brand, the company claims to undertake the refurbishment and sale of used or pre-owned trucks in the BharatBenz range. Now with the new business initiative, the company expects to further improve its business presence.

Mr Rajaram K, President, BharatBenz marketing, sales and customer service, says, “Our perpetual and thorough market research practice brought to our attention the aspiration of customers who would like to purchase used or pre-owned BharatBenz trucks. This need in the market gave birth to the idea of launching BharatBenz Certified- a company-steered pre-owned CV business initiative that will enable such customers to contact BharatBenz directly through our website or authorized dealerships, thereby eliminating the need for third-party mediators.”

How Are Used BharatBenz Trucks Certified? 

BharatBenz says its used commercial-grade BharatBenz vehicles undergo refurbishment through a 125-point quality check which includes technical checkup, repair and restoration of the vehicles. Apart from the 125-point quality checkup, BharatBenz claims to offer a detailed pre-delivery inspection (PDI) before dispatch. 

The brand also says the restored commercial trucks come with a warranty of 6 months and customers get the option to choose a new Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) while purchasing used BharatBenz trucks. Moreover, they also transfer the existing warranty and AMC from the previous owner. 

Where To Find ‘BharatBenz Certified’? 

As of now, the BharatBenz Certified is in the pilot phase and will be available only at Trident Trucking, Bengaluru, however, it will be expanded quickly to all BharatBenz dealerships across the country.

Ashok Leyland Re-AL: 

Ashok Leyland- a flagship of the Hinduja Group has also launched an e-marketplace called ‘Re-AL’ for used commercial vehicles. 

Under their new e-marketplace initiative, Ashok Leyland says they offer verified vehicle images, validated documents as well as evaluation reports to buyers in search of used commercial-grade trucks or planning to exchange used vehicles and upgrade them to brand-new Ashok Leyland trucks or buses. 

Eicher Sure: 

Eicher Motors has also launched a similar initiative called the “Eicher Sure”- a pre-owned vehicles branch which focuses on the purchase and exchange of used trucks. Under this brand, Eicher Motors promises to conduct 101-point quality checks and refurbish vehicles with genuine Eicher parts. 

Other than these benefits, Eicher claims to offer a re-finance facility and after-sales services as well.
