An industry-leading uptime assurance program called “BharatBenz Rakshana” has been introduced by Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG with an agenda to assist BharatBenz customers with upgrading business profitability. The Rakshana program ensures servicing and delivering BharatBenz trucks and buses within 48 hours. This program is a characteristic feature in BharatBenz on-road haulage trucks, tippers, tractor trailers, and buses which already come with an active powertrain warranty during the sale as it assures on-time delivery of vehicles that report to approved BharatBenz service stations situated across the country for service.

The Rakshana program covers booked services, ongoing repairs, or vehicle breakdown cases. Over 98% of the trucks & buses that are reported to BharatBenz service centers are serviced and delivered to clients within 48 hours. However, if the service delivery period surpasses 48 hours, BharatBenz will compensate the customer as per the terms and conditions of the Rakshana program. The compensation for the delay in service will be a percentage of the expenses incurred during the service. This makes the Rakshana Program one of the most distinctive customer service endeavors in the Indian commercial vehicle industry.
