Switch Mobility To Deliver 2,500 Units Of IeV4 Electric Trucks To MoEVing

Switch Mobility (switch), a mobility solutions company part of the Hinduja Group, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with MoEVing, an Indian electric mobility technology platform, to deliver 2,500 units of Switch IeV4 electric trucks. Switch asserts that the agreement marks a significant stride towards sustainable freight transportation in India. 

As for the Switch IeV4 electric truck, it is engineered for zero-emission, mid and last-mile delivery. Further, Switch claims that the agreement marks a strategic alliance to enhance the last-mile transport sector while advancing India's objectives of curbing carbon emissions and fostering sustainable economic development.

What Makes Switch IeV4 Unique?

The Switch IeV4 part of the Switch IeV series is an electric light commercial vehicle integrating a 32.2 kWh battery capable of high-range production. The vehicle is capable of delivering a 120 km range for continuous haulage operations with minimal recharging intervals. Its battery pack is paired with a 60 kW motor for 230 Nm torque production. 

Additionally, the truck has a 1700 kg payload capacity to carry large loads and integrates a Switch iON system - a proprietary, connected technology, telematics solution that helps businesses achieve smarter and more cost-effective fleet operations. The Switch iON system optimises routes, prevents breakdowns, and provides real-time data for efficient operation.
