Force Motors, the domestic commercial vehicle company, is known for its popular vans that have been catering to the needs of customers for decades. The only brand that makes these highly visible vans for multi-purpose applications now introduced its new Van platform ‘ Urbania’, launched in India at ₹ 28.99 lakh.
The Urbania is available in multiple wheelbases and seating capacities, packed with modern features for safety, comfort, and convenience. Force Motors aims to redefine the Van segment in India with this new vehicle that now gets quite a segment's first unique features. Force Motors says, the Urbania is now available in long wheelbases, the medium wheel base (3,615 mm) Urbania variant is priced at ₹ 28.99 lakh, the long wheelbase (4,400 mm) variant costs ₹ 31.25 lakh, and the third and short wheelbase (3,350 mm) variant 10-seater plus driver retails at ₹ 29.50 lakh.
At the exterior, the Urbania gets day-running DRLs, projector headlamps, and signature tail lamps using light guide technology. Based on a modular monocoque architecture designed with a 2-box construction. The van is also the first vehicle in this category to offer crash and rollover compliance with airbags for drivers.
Additionally, a safety kit consists of the use of large, ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels with ESP, ABS, EBD, and ETDC.
The Urbania is powered by a Mercedes-Benz diesel engine producing 113 hp of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque.
