BharatBenz Reaches Out to Truck Drivers On The Move This Diwali

The job of truck drivers is thankless as well as tough, both mentally and physically. Plus they are always on the move and away from their family for long durations, even during festivities. For the sake of highlighting the significant role truck drivers play in our everyday life, BharatBenz, one of the key commercial vehicle manufacturers in India, came up with an innovative, one of its kind, 'Connect' campaign this Diwali. The campaign not only made the day memorable for the truckers, it also opened the door for other manufacturers to reach out to the trucking fraternity and acknowledge them for their services.
BharatBenz took more than 100 drivers on the road by surprise when the truck maker adorned their cabin exteriors and interiors with festive decorations.
Mobile phones of drivers were recharged for INR 500 so that the drivers could be in touch with their near and dear ones during Diwali.
Goodie bags and sweets were also distributed among the truckers.
The drive covered four different parts of the country, namely Manesar (Haryana), Pune (Maharashtra), Gandhidham (Gujarat) and Oragadam (Tamil Nadu).
