Published On Jul 10, 2015By Prashant Talreja

AMW motors is reportedly going to introduce a new format of cabin in its trucks sometime later this year. The commercial vehicles maker had reportedly appointed Stile Bertone, a well known Italian design house, for modelling this new cabin type. The aim of this project was to introduce better ergonomics into the truck's interiors, and also promote fatigue free, easier driving. The cabin's manufacture is to include special tools made in Taiwan. It will be available in different versions, and will be released in both left hand drive and right hand drive markets. This is an indigenously built cabin is going to replace the current cabin that is manufactured and imported from China.

A Ramasubramanian, president of the company, claims that the brand's trucks have been prided with the best cabin in the entire Indian CV industry. He states that it was the first CV maker in the country to introduce air-conditioning, hydraulic tilt and a fully built cabin.

Meanwhile, this manufacturer has strengthened its range in the medium and heavy commercial vehicle segment, thanks to its 3116, 3118 and 25T haulage trucks, which drove the sales further. They have better fuel efficiency and lower maintenance cost that reduces the overall cost of ownership. The company conducts its manufacturing in a state of the art production house in Bhuj, Gujarat. Sized across a massive 2 million square metres and with an investment of 20 billion rupees, it is among the most advanced production facilities in the nation.
