Tata 610 SK Engine & GearBox: The 610 SK gets the proven 4SPCR, BS6 engine with 2956cc of displacement. The maximum power of 98hp and 300 Nm of torque to take on all the cargo duties. The engine is tuned with Tata's G550, 5-speed manual gearbox for easier driving and also better fuel mileage.

This revamped LCV tipper is earlier known as SK407 Tipper in the BS4 regime.
610 SK, well-known and famous all-terrain tipper leadership in its segment, has proven reliability and enhanced capabilities packaged with Tata Motors 24x7 support across India. This tipper is suitable for several critically important applications such as stones, cement, sand, brick, laterite, blue metal, soil, gravel, etc.
610 SK comes with the famous semi-forward cabin (SFC) category with the driver's best-in-class safety. This is supported by stronger and durable aggregates, fully-built tipper body option ready with factory fitted all-steel SK day cabin with enhanced safety with solid built quality.
Tata Motors hasn't changed anything in the exterior as the 6-wheel tipper retains the key performance and looks unchanged. The 6250 kg gross vehicle weight category tipper comes with a load body of 10.2 ft length, 6.1ft of width and height of 1.7ft, and tipper deck of 3Cu.M. The 7.50-16, 16 PR tyre is capable of higher pick-up, offers superior mileage. A standard fuel tank of 60-liter is offered with the LCV tipper.
610 SK gets power steering as standard to navigate this tipper through challenging terrain. The cabin is packed with features such as internal connectivity, high-quality music system with Blaupunkt speakers. It also gets a high-speed USB mobile charger, new multi-function ergonomic instrument cluster, tell tale symbol on instrument clusters, gear shift advisor in Instrument cluster. Aggregate gear shift advisors in the instrument cluster helps drivers drive in proper gear to extract the highest fuel efficiency. The white Illumination facia and ignition switches- the light helps the driver to enter the cabin at night and to start ignition.
The new generation instrument cluster gets display trip indication, fuel, DEF level indicator, air pressure, speed, brake, seat belt, temperature, fuel economy, DPF regeneration, time, trip, SCR fault-related indications, and also gear shift advisor too.
This 6T GVW tipper is high on all the key performance elements with Tata Motors' commitment to a productive tipper. The 610SK is fitted with the popular 4 SPCR engine, which produces a maximum power of 98hp and is increased by 18% for better turnaround time. The maximum torque of this engine is 300 Nm, this also increased by 20% for more pulling power, and the low-end torque is 290 Nm@ 100- r/min up 26%.
The banjo types rear axle offer more load-carrying capacity and are less prone to leakage. The low hysteresis clutch along with high size clutch booster lower pedal effort. The front suspension is parabolic leaf spring, hydraulic double-acting shock absorbers and the rear suspension is semi-elliptical leaf spring with hydraulic double-acting shock absorbers. The high strength steel of 800 MP with high tensile strength makes the chassis strongest in the segment with a bolted design for increased modularity. The single-piece frame for engine mountings was updated inline with BS 6 engines, and the long member thickness was increased to 5mm as standard from 4mm for LCV.
This tipper also comes with serrated coupling flange propeller shaft for better reliability and maintenance. Similarly, the new H2LS brakes offer better efficiency and help in better control and easy to operate. The brakes are maintenance-free and provide longer life.
