January 2, 2020: The Mahindra Blazo range of M&HCV trucks and tippers is the company’s contender for the crown in the big league. Designed to offer the best of modern design and engineering, the Blazo range has managed to carve out space for itself in the market and is growing rapidly. Among the most famous tippers in the Blazo range is the new Mahindra Blazo X 31 8X2 Tipper. The maximum permissible GVW of the Mahindra Blazo X 31 8X2 Tipper is 31000kg   and it has a wheelbase of 6100 mm while the ground clearance stands at a commendable 250mm. It is available in a choice of Rock or Scoop body with a sleeper cabin. Suspension duties are handled by a Semi Elliptical leaf Spring with Shock Absorber for the front while the rear gets bellcrank setup.

Powering the Mahindra Blazo X 31 8X2 Tipper is the company’s BSIV compliant 6 cylinder 7200cc Mahindra mPower FuelSmart diesel engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 274bhp made at 2400rpm while the peak torque rating of 950Nm arriving in the very low rpm range of just 1100-1700rpm. The transmission duties are taken care by 6-Speed manual gearbox mated to a 395mm diaphragm type single dry plate clutch. The top speed is limited to 60kmph and the Mahindra Blazo X 31 8X2 tipper offer a gradeability of 23% fuel tank capacity is 235 liters.
