Mahindra Blazo X 28 9S BS-IV

January 2, 2020:  The Mahindra Blazo range of M&HCV trucks and tippers is the company’s contender for the crown in the big league. Designed to offer the best of modern design and engineering, the Blazo range has managed to carve out space for itself in the market and is growing rapidly. Among the most famous haulage models in the Blazo range in the sub 25 Ton category is the new Mahindra Blazo X 25 9S. The maximum permissible GVW of the Mahindra Blazo X 25 9S is 25000kg and is offered in three possible vehicle configurations - Cabin & Chassis, Face Cowl & Chassis and Cabin with load body options. The load body options have a choice of - Fixed Side Deck and High Side Deck. The loading span with Cabin is 22 ft, 24 ft, 28 ft, and 31 ft and with Cowl are 23.5 ft, 25.5 ft, 29.5 ft, and 32 ft, respectively.

The Mahindra Blazo X 25 9S has a choice of four different wheelbase options - 5000 mm, 5350 mm, 6100 mm and 6600 mm while the ground clearance stands at a commendable 250mm. The turning circle diameter for the 6600 mm wheelbase variant is 22.9m. The Mahindra Blazo X 25 9S has a tiltable cabin with a sleeper berth. Suspension duties are handled by a Semi Elliptical leaf Spring with Shock Absorber for the front while the rear gets Semi elliptical leaf springs as well.

Powering the Mahindra Blazo X 25 9S is the company’s BSIV compliant 6 cylinder 7200cc Mahindra mPower FuelSmart diesel engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 274bhp made at 2400rpm while the peak torque rating of 950Nm arriving in the very low rpm range of just 1100-1700rpm. The transmission duties are taken care by a 9-Speed manual gearbox mated to a 395mm diaphragm type single dry plate clutch. The top speed is limited to 80kmph and the Mahindra Blazo X 25 9S offers a gradeability of 25% fuel tank capacity is 330 liters along with a separate 42-liter tank for Ad-Blue.
