The company also has 5525 in 6x4 configuration in the same 55T GVW category tractor-trailer. Available in multiple variants, the 5525 tractor-trailers is based on the same modular platform of Ashok Leyland allowing you to choose and pick the configuration based on your business needs.  

Ashok Leyland 5525 Engine & GearBox: The tractor gets the H series, 6-cylinder engine with Ashok Leyland in-house iGen-6 technology. This engine is capable of producing 250hp of power at 900 Nm of torque and tuned with a 9-speed synchromesh with a crawler gearbox.

Ashok Leyland 5525 Suspensions: Front suspension is parabolic with an option of semi-elliptic multi-leaf.The rear one is a semi-elliptic multi-leaf with helper spring parabolic.

Ashok Leyland 5525 Axle & Clutch: The front axle is forged I section, reverse Elliot type and comes with an option of unitized wheel bearings. The rear axle is fully floating single speed with an option of unitized wheel bearings. The clutch is 380 mm diameter, single dry plate, ceramic type with an air-assisted hydraulic booster.

Ashok Leyland 5525 Brakes: For safety and better control when the tractor is pulling a full load of the trailer, it gets full air dual line brakes with ABS.

Ashok Leyland 5525 Cabin and Chassis: You get this tractor-trailer with U- value cabin with AC as an option. The chassis comes in ladder-type construction of HSS material, and design customized for load/road/applications as per your needs.

Ashok Leyland 5525 Fuel Tank & Tyre: The fuel tank is rectangular shaped, cross-linked polymer type with a capacity of 220L/300L/375L on the left side. All the tyres are in 295/90R20 - 16 PR size.
