Ashok Leyland 4225 Suspension: The front suspension is semi-elliptic multi-leaf, the parabolic spring is an option. The rear suspension is a non-reactive suspension with an option of slipper ended suspension.
Ashok Leyland 4225 Axle & Brakes: The rear axle is fully floating single speed with an option of unitized wheel bearings. The front axle is forged I section with reverse Elliot type with an option of unitized wheel bearings and anti-roll bar.
Ashok Leyland 4225 Tyre & Fuel Tank: All 14-tyres are 295/90R20 – 16 PR size. The fuel tank is a cross-linked polymer with multiple fuel capacities such as 205 / 300 / 375 L on the left side and one additional tank on the right side. The Ad blue tank comes with 48 capacity on the right-hand side.

Ashok Leyland’s 4225 is another multi-axle haulage truck from the 'AVTR' platform. This '14-wheels' truck shares the underpinning with its sibling 4220, other than the higher power 250HP engine for customers looking for a truck with a better pickup.
This massive 420000kg gross vehicle weight truck, like other multi-axle trucks is part of the modular platform, is available for the customer to select the best suitable configuration. This truck is the ultimate haulage truck for extremely heavy cargo applications in market load, cement, coal, construction material, or even a massive tanker, designed and developed by Ashok Leyland engineer. The multi-axle trucks truly stimulate the economy by carrying enormous goods across the length of India.
This 10x2 axle configuration truck is available in 28, 30, and 32ft cargo bodies. The chassis is developed in a high strength steel material in 275x75x 8 mm dimensions with bolted construction type. The front axle is forged I section, reverse Elliot type and comes with an option of unitized wheel bearings or anti-roll bar, the rear axle is fully floating single speed with an option of unitized wheel bearings. Front suspension is semi-elliptic multi-leaf, or parabolic springs are optional, and the rear is NRS suspension with slipper ended suspension as an option.
The wheelbase of this truck is 6600 mm, the lengths of 10960 mm, 11560 mm, and 11960 mm, and the overall width is 2570 mm, and the height is 3110 mm. The fuel tanks come in 220, 300, and 375L options built on cross-link polymer, along with a 48L AdBlue tank, also fitted on this truck.
