December 17, 2020: Ashok Leyland 3520 Twin Steering is AVTR based heavy-duty haulage truck for long-haul cargo transportation with a price ranging between ₹ 35.56 - ₹ 36.31 Lakh (ex-showroom- New Delhi). This multi-axle truck is suitable for a variety of applications on inter-city routes. This truck is identical to the Ashok Leyland 3520 8x2 with the only difference being between the axle arrangement. 

Ashok Leyland 3520 Twin Steering Truck Engine & GearBox: The truck gets Ashok Leyland’s H-series engine that produces 200hp of power at a peak torque of 700 Nm at1200-2000 rpm. The engine is tuned to 6 and 8-speed gearbox options.

Ashok Leyland 3520 Twin Steering Suspensions: The front suspension is semi-elliptic multi-leaf, and the parabolic as an option. The rear suspension is NRS with an option of slipper ended type.

Ashok Leyland 3520 Twin Steering Axles: The rear axle is fully floating single speed with an option of unitised wheel bearings and the front axle is forged I section with reverse Elliot type with an option of unitised wheel bearings. 

Ashok Leyland 3520 Twin Steering Brakes: This haulage truck gets full air dual line brakes with ABS and auto exhaust. 

Ashok Leyland 3520 Twin Steering Frame: The chassis frame is made of high strength steel with a new improved design dimensions of 275 X 75 X 7/8mm in bolted construction. 

Ashok Leyland 3520 Twin Steering Cabin & truck Body: The cabin options are G – Economy Cowl, M -Economy cabin, U -Value cabin and N - Premium cabin. The AC option is available on U/N variants. The cargo body sizes range between 24ft to 32 ft.
