Jan 4, 2019: Transit mixture trucks aren’t the most commonly found units, though they find tremendous importance in the construction arena. It has a lot of amenities offered and isn’t just a chassis-built model.

The cabin on the chassis of the AMW 2516 TM is a comfortable one with air-conditioning available as an option. It is tiltable too, and hence, finds more significance than the ones that are not.

Mechanically, it uses the same 5.9-litre 6-cylinder engine that can make 154.7 bhp and a peak torque of 590 Nm. Transmission is done by a 6-speed manual unit where the drivetrain has a 6x4 axle configuration. It has a very high payload capacity of 18,140 kilograms.

May 20, 2016: AMW 2516 TM (Transit Mixture) is the company’s special application truck for construction applications and is available from INR 21.7 lakh (ex-showroom price). It has standard engine specifications of Cummins B5.9 litre 5,883 cc Turbocharged after cooled power house, which is good to churn out 154.7 bhp power and 590 Nm torque. It has decent 21% gradeability and top speed of 79 km/h to conquer both highways and steep slopes. The wheelbase dimensions of 4,300 mm and power steering makes it easy for driver to move the truck on tough terrains. Having GVW of 25,000 kg and payload capacity of 18,140 kg with mixture capacity of 6 CuM, 2516 TM could take a lot of intake at once and process it. Its sleeper cabin has mostly standard features including seat belts, adjustable driver seats, tiltable steering and optional AC for extra comfort.
