The TRP has been designed innovatively to impart formal and rigorous training to truck drivers who previously did not have any exposure to driving on a track. The training also includes those drivers who do not have hands-on experience on a Prima truck before and lack formal education.
The course has been designed by the MOMA Motorsport Management which consists of four levels of training and elimination. The T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship 2016 saw two different categories for the first time, the Super Class (comprising of Indian truck drivers) and the Pro Class (comprising of international truck drivers). The customized Prima trucks zooming across the racing track captivated trucking enthusiasts. The event also witnessed celebrity performances that kept the audience enthralled and entertained.
