Tata Motors Opens Three New Dealerships in South India

In order to further expand its footprint in South India, Tata Motors, the country’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer has opened three new dealerships in Trichy, Warangal and Madurai. Launched within the last three months, these new 3S dealerships provide sales, service and spare parts for Tata Motors' entire range of commercial vehicles. The CV brand already has over 600 touchpoints in the southern region to enhance customer experience.

The new Tata dealerships boast of state-of-the-art facilities offering 24*7 services. These facilities are equipped with dedicated service bays, two post hoists and inspection pits, advanced wheel alignment units, automatic lube dispensing units, and driver restrooms with bunkers and washrooms. These, along with an air conditioned and WiFi enabled sales and customer reception area help in enhancing the customer experience.

The dealership units are managed by professionally trained and experienced staff who also assist customers with vehicle financing, insurance and loyalty programs. Tata has also included provisions for buyback of old vehicles, service contracts and a host of other value added services through these new dealerships.

Commenting on Tata’s new ventures, Mr. R.T Wasan, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, said, “With one of the largest and growing commercial vehicles networks of over 600 touchpoints in the South, we at Tata Motors are well-positioned for further growth in one of the most active trading regions in the country. With the setting-up of three new commercial dealerships in this market, we hope to build strong, lasting relationships with our customers here.”

Mr. Wasan told TrucksDekho, "The South market is growing strongly and there has been a significant improvement in market shares in the region. In areas where new dealerships have been added, Tata has witnessed a significant improvement in various segments such as light, small, medium and heavy commercial vehicles and also the buses segment."

Tata Motors boasts of over 1400 sales and 1800 service touchpoints across the country. The CV maker is working towards innovating better products, improving its sales and service network and opening new dealerships to increase its pan India presence while improving penetration and improving the quality.
