Tata Launches Ultra Range of Trucks in Kenyan CV Market

First launched in 2014 in the domestic market, Tata Ultra range of trucks have been quite successful in India. The company has now increased its presence in the Kenyan commercial vehicle market too, by launching its range of the Ultra business trucks in the African country.
Tata Motors has launched the trucks in order to cater to customers looking out for options in the light commercial vehicle segment in Kenya. The Ultra trucks introduced in Kenya have the same engine, transmission and interiors as those in the domestic market.
Meant for payloads ranging from 4 to 11 tonnes, the Tata Ultra range of trucks features Tata’s proven TCIC engine. The engine is supported by a G550 6-speed manual transmission with aluminium casing.
Cabin interiors come with contemporary features such as driving economy indicator and water in fuel indicator. The three-way adjustable driver’s seat has arm rests and the power steering rack can also be adjusted as per the driver’s needs. Additionally, the gear lever is mounted on the dashboard, thus resulting in more spacious interiors. Also, the vehicles can be optionally fitted with various accessories such as the music system, air conditioning and the Global Positioning System (GPS).
The Tata Ultra trucks come in thee colour options: Arctic White, Arizona Blue and Sardinia Red. The vehicles also come with the warrant of three years or two lakh kilometres, whichever is earlier.
