India’s first AC Tipper in the 14-tonne GVW category

Continuing with its unique offering, the company recently introduced the K.14 Ultra tipper in the ICV category with air-condition cabin- a first in the Indian CV industry, based on the modern and stylish Ultra platform. Stylish Ultra Cabin
First and foremost, the day cabin is a standout feature of the K.14 Ultra tipper. You get an AC cabin with 4- blowers, a premium interior, a 45-degree tillable cabin, a dash-mounted gear level, and a lot of storage and utility spaces with bottle holder and foldable armrest. The Ultra is crash tested meeting European safety norms with a smoother feel inside as the NVH levels are lower, and insulation from heat and noise.
Get inside, and you will find comfortable seating with a mechanically suspended 3-way adjustable seat made of Melba Fabric for better comfort both in summer and winter. The cabin can take a driver and two co-passenger quite comfortably with a bucket seat for the driver, and bench seating for the co-passenger. There is also a height-adjustable driver seat, integrated headrest, and armrest in the centre for lesser driver fatigue making the cabin extra comfortable.

The K14.Ultra tipper is fitted with Tata Motors' new generation 3.3L engine that comes with a promise of higher life, improved reliability, and also lower maintenance cost. Tata Motors says, the engine-enhanced drivability helps in lower-end torque and flat torque range, this also aids in mileage gain.

What also impresses about this tipper is Tata Motors' all-new multi-display electronic cluster with analog as well as a digital display that helps the driver with key vehicle information during the trip and overall vehicle usage. For example, information about fuel, water, low, air pressure, speed, brake, seat, belt, temperature, economy, assistance, time, neutral position, DPF lamp, DEF level, DEF reserve indicator, SCR malfunction, service reminder, trip-based fuel economy, distance to empty, driver message screen for any malfunction, driving mode lamps, Overspeed warning lights, power take-off sign, etc. This list essentially covers almost every aspect of the vehicle and thus makes it effortless to run and maintain the tipper.
Comfort and Connected Features
Another unique characteristic of this tipper is Tata Motors' connectivity solutions. On the dashboard, there is a DPF filtration/generation on & off switch and also a driving mode selection switch. Then the internal connectivity feature includes the in-built music system with speakers from Blaupunkt, a high-speed USB mobile charger, and a new multi-function ergonomic instrument cluster. Furthermore, the tipper is equipped with a bigger 9 x 20 tube tyre which adds higher torque to the wheel. The less rolling resistance means better mileage along with easier steerability & better driving comfort. The brakes are air-type with standard ABS.
Then a single key operation of the tipper means comfort and ease for the driver, also, to get easily in and out of the cabin there is a convenient step to the topper along with an overall stylish look in sync with body design and curves.
