Tata Hosts Truck World Expo at Chandigarh, Launches Signa Range

Tata Motors is currently hosting a two-day ‘Truck World’ Advanced Trucking Expo at Chandigarh. The leading CV maker of the country is showcasing over 40 medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCVs) including the Tata Prima range of trucks and tippers at the event. The company has also launched its new Signa range of M&HCVs at the expo, which will soon be available across Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Apart from providing a first-of-its-kind comprehensive purchase experience to customers, the event will also enhance Tata’s opportunities for communication and promotion, all under one roof.
The September 15-16, 2016 event is not only showcasing an impressive line-up of Tata trucks ranging from haulage to construction, but also several key technologies and services offered by the company. Commercial vehicle customers and their families are also getting entertained through stage performances and various other activities.
The expo also marks the launch of Tata’s Signa range (in three states) that was previously unveiled at Auto Expo 2016. The vehicles from Signa range currently on display at Truck World Chandigarh are Signa 4923.S tractor and the Signa 4018.S tractor.
Engineered using the latest technology, the Signa range offers a world-class trucking experience through several advanced features. Improved ergonomics and NVH levels, in-built telematics system, proven Tata Motors aggregates and a superior in-cab experience enables drivers to operate fatigue free over long hauls, which in turn offers significant improvement in productivity.
Throwing more light on the event, Mr. Rajesh Kaul, Business Head of Intermediate, Medium & Heavy Trucks, Tata Motors, said that the Truck World expo is a unique way of “showcasing several products, a dozen trucking technologies and service offerings, including stage performances and games for truckers and their families, making the experience of buying a Tata Motors commercial vehicle even more special.”

Apart from Chandigarh, Tata Motors has hosted the Truck World expo in six other centers till now and the company plans to take the event to many other cities during the year.
