The BS-IV compliant motor can produce 40.2bhp @3,750 rpm and 100Nm of torque @1700-2000 rpm. The engine when mated to 5-speed manual gearbox can help the vehicle attain a top speed of 90kmph. Like its siblings, the new Tata Ace XL is expected to be par on fuel efficiency as well. Here's a quick snapshot of its specifications from the brochure:
In terms of comfort, Ace XL would probably get the same set of features as in other models of the family including digital clock, adjustable driver seat, mobile charger, power windows and navigation system. It would also get safety features like tubeless tyres and anti-lock braking system to name a few.
Price of Tata Ace XL is likely to be a little high than its sibling Ace DICOR, which is priced at INR 4.27 lakh (ex-showroom). With 2 years/72,000 km of standard warranty, the new model of Ace family is expected to repeat the same sensation that has been done in the past by other models.
