Ace Gold CNG offers better pickup with the water cooled multipoint gas injection 694 cc CNG engine producing 26hp of power and significantly better torque of 50 Nm. This helps in a faster pickup and quick turn-around time. The clutch is single-plate, dry-friction diaphragm type and the gearbox is 6-speed manual transmission, synchromesh on all forward gears, sliding mesh for reverse gear.
The front brakes are disc and rear drum type.The steering is in variable ratio. The suspensions are parabolic leaf spring at front & rear and hydraulic shock absorber in double-acting telescopic type. To climb flyer overs comfortably or challenging rural terrain with full loads of cargo, 29% of gradeability makes it effortless.
More payload is what the customers want from this truck as the higher cargo carrying capacities means they earn greater revenue every trip. Ace CNG heavy-duty truck-like chassis is reinforced. The rugged front & rear leaf spring suspension has been made even stiffer, stronger, and solid axles can easily carry 640 of payload. To carry this high payload, Tata Motors offers a cargo load body length of 2520 mm (8.2 feet), providing a larger loading area, aimed at maximizing profitability.

Hence, Ace CNG comes with a new digital cluster inside the cabin, a bigger glove box with a lot of space for storage, and a new USB charger. Seating capacity of driver and one co-passenger, the cabin is roomy and comfortable. The maximum gross vehicle weight of the CNG variant is 1630 kg and a top speed of 70 km/h.
