Scania Set to Unveil New Truck Generation in August

Swedish auto major Scania is on a spree to cover global market with its world class commercial vehicle solutions. After opening one of its kind electric roads recently, the company is now set to unveil an all-new generation of trucks in the month of August. The date which has been set to unveil the new range is August 23, 2016, which also would be Scania’s 125th anniversary celebration day. The company has already created a buzz by investing the maximum till date in this new range of products.
Scania’s Sales and Marketing Executive Vice-President Mr. Christian Levin said, “We are now in the final phase of preparing the sales and service network as well as the European production units. At the moment, we are not providing any further information about the many innovations, which are in store. But I am convinced that what Scania will unveil on 23 August will be talked about – both inside and outside the industry.”
The company, however, will launch these products step-wise or in phases throughout the world. The current models will also be sold simultaneously alongside the new generation. These products are manufactured to reduce operation and maintenance cost, increase vehicle up-time, boost fuel economy and enhance the comfort on long journeys.
