S-CCI Golden Cruiser Buys Four 30 Ton BharatBenz Tankers
Published On Feb 09, 2017
S-CCI Golden Cruiser, an automotive components manufacturer in India, has added four 30 ton tankers built on BharatBenz chassis. These new tankers, as per the company, will be used to transport Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) and long life coolants to the company's customers. MEG is used as the base material in the manufacturing of anti-freeze coolants.
SK Singh, Director, S-CCI Golden Cruiser, said, “OEMs are very particular about quality and rightly so, as their brand image is exceedingly important for them. S-CCI Golden Cruiser is a supplier of anti-freeze coolants to major automobile companies and hence has a major responsibility to ensure that its products meet the stringent requirements of all OEMs. Therefore, we use our own tankers to procure material and supply to customers to prevent contamination and deterioration of Product quality.”
The company, after the procurement of four new 30 ton tankers, owns a total of ten 30 ton tankers. S-CCI Golden Cruiser also owns 23 other varying capacity trucks, which are used to source raw materials and deliver different finished products to consumers.
S-CCI is an engine coolant, brake fluid and specialty chemicals manufacturer, operating in India. The company, after recent procurement of new tankers, now owns 18 BharatBenz trucks, three 30 ton AMW trucks, two 30 ton Tata trucks, six 30 ton tankers assembled by AMW and five tankers ranging from 2 to 20 ton made by Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors and Mahindra.
It is companies like S-CCI that might be playing a major part in helping fleet owners and individual truck owners in deciding which truck brands to buy. Consumers, these days, search for trucks that are used by major companies for their transportation needs. It is a hypothesis in the market that big companies like S-CCI only choose the best of trucks, and hence buying the same brand of trucks as used by these companies, can prove beneficial for the transportation businesses run by fleet owners and individual truck owners.
