Rajan Wadhera is the New President of Mahindra's Automotive Sector

Mahindra and Mahindra has appointed Rajan Wadhera as the new President of its automotive sector. Mr. Wadhera is slated to take over the position after March 31, 2017, after the retirement of Mr. Pravin Shah. Mr. Shah is currently serving the group as its President and Chief Executive Officer.
M&M has announced the new developments along with the restructuring of businesses. The process has been carried under the leadership of Dr Pawan Goenka.
Mahindra trucks, buses and construction equipment businesses have been aligned into the automotive sector and will report to Rajan Wadhera.
Agricultural sector, as a new front has also been formed as a outcome of the process. Other sectors involve the automotive and farm equipment sectors.
Mahindra and Mahindra is one of the fastest growing automobile companies in India. It leads the country in mini truck and pickup truck sales. The group is famous for restructuring its business strategies as per market requirements. Moreover the product range, especially Mahindra trucks and pickups, are known for qualities like low maintenance, high mileage and good operational life.
As a matter of fact, Mahindra is the only CV manufacturer in the country to offer a truck with mileage guarantee. The group claims that consumers can claim a refund of their amount, if in case the trucks from the famous Blazo range fail to deliver on the promised mileage figures.
Mahindra’s move to reshuffle the complete business structure can be seen as the group’s part of preparation strategy for being the top player. It is not a hidden fact that Mahindra has intentions of making it big at the international level as well.
